Two tall windows flanking the bed bring in lots of natural light, helping to make this space cheerful and bright. Like the other bedrooms in the home, the kid’s bedroom includes a patterned carpet that adds visual interest and warmth underfoot. “I used patterned carpets throughout [the house] just to give these rooms their own personality,” says designer Tiffany Brooks. The bedroom also includes an attractive nine-drawer dresser with a clean and classic style. This handsome wood-top dresser with tapered legs has concave-center drawers with soft-close drawer glides.
A swivel glider chair with patterned fabric and a round ottoman is made with a tight-back cushion and track arms that slope to gently envelope you, for super-comfortable seating at story time.
Modern teen bedroom decor. The charcoal-gray walls and ceiling paired with bold pops of color and patterns make this space cool enough for kids yet sophisticated enough for their parents.
The set of graffiti-like abstract prints on each side of the bed look almost three dimensional against the deep-black walls.

From K & H Design Ltd: “We were commissioned to create a young explorer’s dream room, where camping meets aviation, cars, machinery and even the astrological for adventurous weekends away!…With a colour brief of blues and reds we started by choosing @FarrowandBall Pigeon for a base to the scheme. This was then embellished with a hand painted mural of ticker tape trailing from the bi-plane model that is mid-flight above the original fireplace. The @ChelseaTextiles moon dog curtains are lined in red ticking, and the wardrobe doors have matchbox cars as handles. The centrepiece of the room is the custom-made wigwam in linen and wool, a real den for weekend camp-in’s with mates.
