The Golden Child rose is one of my favorite yellow roses. This rose is a modern shrub rose, a floribunda that produces masses of canary yellow roses and has glossy mid-green foliage. The leaves on this rose bush are more black spot resistant than other roses in my garden.
Golden Child is a floribunda rose with an upright, neat growth habit. The foliage is a deep rich green which drops in the Winter. Medium-large sized flowers appear on slender stems with brighter, longer lasting colour combined with bigger, more fragrant clusters of flowers. The bloom flowers don’t fade in the heat. The flowers are a wonderfully rich golden yellow. Best used in English garden designs, cottage gardens or in pots. Roses require moderate watering, especially during hot weather. Applying a layer of mulch around the base of the plant will help to retain moisture during dry periods.
