Bang Saray House by Architectkidd Studio features a double nature: extrovert on the ground floor, intimate on the upper floor. The house, owned by a Swiss family, has been designed according to the principles of passive architecture and energy saving, especially relying on local and natural building materials. The villa is set in the luscious, pristine scenery of Thailand eastern coast. The solid, rectangular-shaped villa has been built using concrete slabs and features a beautiful open living area with custom-made fittings in Modernist style, bordered by large sliding glass panels which «can be directly opened to connect the interior spaces with the outdoor areas». Sleeping quarters are sheltered by thin, dark wood slats offering shade, intimacy and a natural passage of fresh air through the five lengthwise arranged bedrooms on the first floor. A lush, tropical garden surrounds the villa overlooking a long, blue, inviting swimming pool.
