White Stripe Bougainvillea with Variegated Leaves. A nursery I frequent has two striking white bougainvillea’s with variegated leaves that are flowering abundantly right now in June, beginning of winter here in NSW Australia.
This sun loving plant is suited to warmer climates and requires a good 6 or more hours of sun for it to flower like the one you see here.
This white stripe bougainvillea features white bracts and whit flowers with variegated leaves that look like stripes.
So much beautiful flowering coming from one good solid stem.
Here you can see the overall effect this plant gives, it is grown in large metal containers. Bougainvillea’s are tolerant of drier conditions and they grow well in containers.
What an enchanting climbing plant, one of my absolute favorites.
